Although the rural poor are skilled in many ways, they typically have few qualifications and so the opportunity to work towards an academic degree is a dream that cannot be achieved. South Asian Academy for Good Governance (SAAGG)-GULL is addressing this iniquity by enabling those who are committed to personal and professional development by action learning and to serving others to progress. I am grateful that SAAGG-GULL enabled me to attain a community-based professional Bachelor degre and the process has equipped me to better serve my community and to do so with greater self-confidence and assurance.
