Royal Companion of Alliance of the Princely House of Kasperski-Łabędź

Above: Dato’ Dr Vincent Tang accepts the Royal Companion of Alliance of the Princely House of Kasperski-Łabędź on behalf of the Global University for Lifelong Learning from Prince Andrzej Kasperski-Łabędź in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 19 April 2012.

The Princely House of Kasperski-Łabędź has endured for more than seven hundred and seventy years and in 1888 the paternal Kasperski family appeared in the list of families authorized to bear the title of Prince in the Kingdom of Poland. Maternal descendants were granted the hereditary title of Prince in Austria on 30 December, 1837 and 22 May, 1841. Following Napoleonic rule, Poland’s traditional royal families ceased to rule in their own right but in 2008 all Paternal and Maternal Titles and Coats of Arms belonging to the Kasperski-Labedz Family were formally re-recognized by the European Court of the European Union.
