Samson Lowa, Church and community development leader
The Right Reverend Sir Samson Lowa was until his retirement, Head of the United Church of Papua New Guinea (PNG). Samson became Moderator-elect of the United Church in 1996 and Moderator and leader of the Church in 1998. In 1994 he participated in the development of the ‘Personal Viability’ (PV) concept in PNG and since then, thousands of people have benefited from the PV process, now fully integrated with the GULL system.
