Barbra Nenewa

John WicksBarbra Nenewa is Regional Vice President, Pacific Islands, Global University for Lifelong Learning, based Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG).

Barbra gained experience in office work and administration with the National Research Institute in Papua New Guinea and later in guest relations with the Crowne Plaza hotel in Port Moresby. She later worked as a shop branch manager and with the Salvation Army Boroko Primary School in a variety of administrative roles prior to joining First Investment Finance Limited as assistant system administrator. She now works with the Human Development Institute (HDI) where she involved in establishing the HDI campus in Bomana prison, Port Moresby. Barbra is also Secretary of HDI’s Personal Viability (PV) Alumni – a self-help network.

Barbra is a Papuan from Central Province, PNG. She has a Certificate in Business Administration and is married with two children. HDI’s Founder and Chairman, Samuel Tam says: Barbra has an unbelievable passion, energy and capacity to support people, especially those who are really down and nearly out. Barbra is delighted to join GULL’s honorary team of officers at a time when HDI is embarking on a public-private partnership, a national project that is creating great public interest in the HDI’s work in PNG with GULL.
